Pilates has long been a staple in fitness, but it's now having a major moment. Once associated primarily with controlled movements and core strength, it has evolved into a broader training method embraced by athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and newcomers alike. The rise of boutique fitness and hybrid training models has pushed Pilates into new territory, blending it with cardio and strength elements to create more dynamic workouts. STRONG Pilates is tapping into this momentum with an aggressive expansion plan, announcing over 155 new U.S. locations through a strategic partnership with wellness investor Momentic Studios.

The expansion includes 96 studios supported by Momentic Studios, along with 30 single and multi-site franchise agreements and up to 30 corporate-owned locations. STRONG’s U.S. footprint will grow in Los Angeles County, Orange County, San Francisco, San Diego, Houston, Dallas, Greater New York City, Greater Boston, Greater Chicago, and Orlando, while also strengthening its presence in Austin, New Jersey, and Long Island.

“The response to STRONG Pilates in the U.S. market has exceeded our expectations,” said Mark Armstrong and Michael Ramsey, Co-Founders of STRONG Pilates. “Momentic Studios’ values align seamlessly with STRONG Pilates and our partnership will support STRONG’s accelerated growth while maintaining our commitment to delivering an unparalleled fitness experience across the country.”

Momentic Studios, which focuses on investments in health and wellness, sees STRONG Pilates as a brand that fits within its vision of blending fitness and lifestyle. “STRONG Pilates represents the type of innovative, community-focused wellness brand that Momentic Studios seeks to partner with,” said AJ Patel, Co-Founder of Momentic Studios. “STRONG’s unique offering and proven success in multiple international markets creates an exceptional opportunity for us to fulfill the growing demand for boutique multi-modality fitness experiences in the U.S.”

STRONG Pilates has already built momentum internationally. Founded in 2019, the company has expanded to more than 80 studios across 11 countries, with a growing network of members and instructors. The brand continues to position itself as a leader in the boutique fitness space, combining Pilates principles with high-intensity training for a workout that balances strength, endurance, and recovery.

The first U.S. studios are set to open in spring and summer 2025, with locations in Central Austin, Texas; Cinco Ranch, Texas; Garwood and Morristown, New Jersey; Williston Park, Syosset, and Ronkonkoma on Long Island; Commack, New York; Monmouth, Illinois; and West Hollywood and Santa Monica, California.

Beyond the U.S., STRONG Pilates is continuing its international expansion, with locations already operating in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Singapore, Canada, the Philippines, Japan, Dubai, and Indonesia. The company has plans to enter South Korea, Malaysia, and Bahrain in 2025.

As Pilates continues to gain traction worldwide, STRONG Pilates is expanding to meet demand with a model that blends tradition with innovation. With its latest U.S. push, the company is positioning itself at the intersection of strength, endurance, and longevity-focused fitness.
