FIBO Expands with Hall 1, Putting Longevity and Wellness in the Spotlight
Krissy Vann | Host, All Things Fitness and Wellness
The fitness industry is shifting beyond traditional workouts and gym memberships, embracing a broader approach that integrates wellness, hospitality, and longevity. As more people seek ways to maintain their health over the long term, the market is responding with innovations that extend beyond exercise, focusing on recovery, mental resilience, and longevity science. Recognizing this change, FIBO is expanding its offerings with the introduction of Hall 1, a space designed to connect fitness, wellness, and hospitality while providing industry professionals with valuable insights and networking opportunities.
With Hall 1, FIBO aims to create a platform for hoteliers, spa operators, studio owners, medical professionals, and wellness experts to explore new ideas and business opportunities. “With the introduction of Hall 1, we are setting new benchmarks for the future of wellness, hospitality, and longevity,” said Anke Brendt, Product Manager at FIBO. “Our goal is to provide an unparalleled platform for knowledge-sharing, innovation, and networking.”
A key feature of Hall 1 is the Meeting Point Spa & Wellness, where professionals can attend interactive sessions, panel discussions, and presentations from industry experts. The event begins with the Aktiv Hotel Award, which recognizes outstanding active hotels. This is followed by International Day, where global wellness and hospitality leaders will discuss how longevity can be positioned as a business advantage. Speakers such as Dr. Peter Hauschild, Claudia Wagner, and Oliver Patrick will share insights on strategies for hoteliers and resort operators. Saturday’s program will focus on longevity diagnostics and technology, featuring experts such as Nina Ruge, Jörg Puchta MD, Robert Percy Marshall MD, and Lutz Graumann MD. The week wraps up with Spa Sunday, an exclusive networking event for spa managers and professionals.
FIBO is also introducing the Longevity Experience Area, an interactive space designed to bring the concept of longevity to life. In collaboration with C4F, this area features a walk-in hotel room showcasing science-backed approaches to movement, nutrition, sleep, and mental well-being. The METAWELL Luxury Lounge and Pavilion of Senses will offer live demonstrations of touchless therapies, cold and oxygen therapy, detox methods, and bioneuronal sound therapy.
The Body & Mind Area, presented in partnership with IFAA, will provide hands-on training in Pilates, yoga, and mental health. This space will allow industry professionals to experience new approaches that can be incorporated into their businesses. Hall 1 will also feature a curated selection of exhibitors offering products and services tailored for wellness-focused hospitality. Companies such as Gharieni Group GmbH and Landsberg First Class Aesthetic will showcase spa and beauty treatments, while Glow25, Cryotech Nordic, and REVIVE from JK International will highlight innovations in longevity-focused health solutions.
A major addition to this year’s event is the Longevity & Hospitality Summit, scheduled for April 10 at Confex. Curated by Black Coral Consulting and Yves Preissler Consulting, the summit will bring together global leaders to discuss the intersection of longevity and hospitality. Sessions will cover the economic potential of longevity, risks of industry hype, and the role of technology in shaping wellness-driven hospitality. Speakers include Dr. George Gatainos, CEO of Chenot, along with experts such as Gemma Greenwood, Judith Carthwright, and Aradhana Khowala. Discussions will focus on strategic ways to integrate longevity into brand identities, the impact of health-focused interior design, and approaches to prevention over medical treatment.
As the connection between fitness and wellness strengthens, initiatives such as Hall 1 provide a space for industry leaders to explore new opportunities. By fostering collaboration and innovation, FIBO aims to support the growing recognition that fitness is no longer just about performance but about long-term well-being and business growth.
