Huawei's High-Tech Health Lab Puts Fitness to the Test in Finland

In a bid to further its research in health monitoring algorithms and wearable technologies, Huawei has recently launched its third HUAWEI Health Lab, this time in Helsinki, Finland. This latest facility, spanning almost 1000 square meters, is equipped with top-of-the-line sports equipment, and it serves as a cutting-edge research platform dedicated to Huawei's health and fitness sector.

The HUAWEI Health Lab in Finland is staffed with a diverse and multidisciplinary scientific research team, including six Doctors in Science (PhD) and 20 experts from five major fields, such as physiology, AI, machine learning, software testing, and software engineering, originating from seven European countries. Their collective expertise aims to ensure that every aspect of sports and health research conducted here meets the world's highest standards.

This laboratory has meticulously recreated true-to-life sports environments and scenarios across five major testing areas, covering more than 20 sports and monitoring over 200 physiological and biomechanical indicators. Participants also have the opportunity to utilize Huawei's latest wearable devices, including the HUAWEI WATCH GT 4, during their exercise sessions, creating a real-world testing ground for these innovations.
