As the Paris 2024 Olympic Games approach, the International Olympic Committee has introduced its Olympic AI agenda, aiming to regulate and promote the responsible use of artificial intelligence in sports. Launched in April, this initiative underscores AI's potential to revolutionize talent identification and athlete performance enhancement. IOC President Thomas Bach highlighted how AI can discover talent globally and support athletes in their training efforts.

"AI can help identify talent in every corner of the world. More importantly, it can support athletes who want to improve their performance," said Bach.

Modern digital equipment, powered by AI, offers athletes advanced projections and training algorithms while enhancing the audience's experience with real-time data and insights. This technological advancement adds a new layer of engagement for viewers, making the sporting events even more thrilling.

Amidst these developments, Technogym continues to integrate AI into its training products. Their innovations will be present in the training centers for over 15,000 athletes at Paris 2024, including tools like Technogym Checkup and Biostrength. These AI-powered systems provide detailed physical and cognitive analyses, personalized training protocols, and enhanced strength training, helping athletes optimize their performance efficiently.

Technogym has been the Official Supplier of the Olympic Games since Sydney 2000, a role secured through a competitive tender process that demands the highest production and quality standards. This long-term partnership requires providing equipment that meets the rigorous needs of Olympic athletes. As Technogym prepares for Paris 2024, its focus remains on integrating advanced technology and innovation into its training products, ensuring they support the athletes' performance effectively.

The incorporation of AI in sports is not limited to elite athletes; it also benefits amateur athletes by offering tailored training programs and real-time feedback. As AI becomes an integral part of athletic training, it is crucial to establish frameworks to ensure its responsible use and maximize its potential in enhancing athletic performance and the overall spectator experience.
