Mohammed Iqbal Steps Down as SweatWorks CEO, Joins ABC Fitness as Strategy Officer

Mohammed (Mo) Iqbal, founder of SweatWorks, has shifted roles after leading the company for over a decade. As of February 19, 2025, Iqbal stepped down as CEO and assumed the position of Chairman. While no longer handling day-to-day operations, he remains actively involved in shaping the company’s strategy and long-term direction.

Alongside his new position at SweatWorks, Iqbal has taken on the role of fractional Chief Strategy Officer at ABC Fitness, a global technology provider serving the fitness industry. At ABC Fitness, Iqbal is focusing on expanding strategic consulting services, forming partnerships, and guiding acquisition plans. His expertise in artificial intelligence, interoperability, and data-driven personalization plays a key role in these efforts.
