Xponential Fitness, Inc. has announced the successful completion of the sale of its STRIDE Fitness brand. The acquiring entity, Stride Fitness Franchising, Inc., is under the ownership of Shaun Grove, who is also known for his role as the President of Rumble Boxing. This move aligns with Xponential Fitness's strategic approach to optimizing its portfolio for enhanced growth and customer experiences worldwide.

CEO of Xponential Fitness, Anthony Geisler, emphasized the company's strategy, stating, "We continuously evaluate our portfolio of brands to ensure profitable growth, optimize global customer experiences, and drive long-term value creation for our stakeholders.” He further expressed confidence in the transaction, highlighting Mr. Grove's extensive experience in franchise management prior to his tenure at Xponential. According to Mr. Geisler, handing over STRIDE to such an experienced operator ensures the brand's continued success and aligns with Xponential's long-term objectives.

Additionally, with the divestiture of STRIDE Fitness, Xponential Fitness has initiated the search for a new President of Rumble Boxing, aiming to fill the vacancy left by Mr. Grove. In the meantime, Grove has committed to continue his leadership role at Rumble Boxing until a suitable successor is appointed. Despite STRIDE Fitness constituting less than 1% of Xponential's total open studios as of the end of 2023, this divestiture marks a strategic pivot for the company, which anticipates minimal impact on its revenue projections for 2024. Xponential has also pledged ongoing support to ensure a smooth transition for the STRIDE brand under its new ownership.
