F45 has announced a significant partnership with Strava. This collaboration marks F45 Training as the first global functional fitness franchise to display grouped activities on Strava, connecting over 125 million athletes worldwide.

The integration allows F45 members to synchronize their fitness goals with the larger F45 Training community. With seamless automatic activity uploads to Strava, users can track class types, average beats per minute, calories burned, and workout locations. These activities will automatically group on Strava, enabling athletes to benchmark their performance and connect with others who have completed the same workouts.

Tom Dowd, CEO of F45 Training, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “Becoming the first global functional fitness franchise to collaborate with Strava in a really unique way deepens the connections our members and Strava users have to their fitness and wellness journeys, all as a global, like-minded community. The integration with LionHeart is a key component of our partnership and will really make sharing workout results and supporting other members both near and far more seamless than ever before. The time to join the F45 Training Club on Strava is now and, with roughly 2,000 F45 Training locations, there are a lot of studios in which to train.”

LionHeart, F45 Training's wearable technology, tracks points, heart rate, and other metrics, and makes this data available on Strava’s feed. F45 members can join the F45 Training Club on Strava, connect with fellow members, and appear on a global leaderboard, fostering friendly competition.

Mateo A. Ortega, Vice President of Connected Partnerships at Strava, highlighted the importance of this integration, saying, “This integration with F45 Training reinforces Strava’s dedication to fostering active communities worldwide. We’re excited to open up new opportunities for athletes to connect, support each other and share their fitness journeys with Strava’s global community.”

The partnership between F45 Training and Strava represents a strategic move to enhance the digital connectivity and engagement of their global fitness communities. By leveraging Strava’s platform, F45 aims to provide its members with new opportunities for interaction, motivation, and tracking their fitness progress.
