Nike and Hyperice have announced a new collaboration aimed at enhancing athletic performance and recovery. The partnership has resulted in the development of the Nike x Hyperice boots and vest, innovative wearable technologies designed to support athletes in their training and competitive endeavors.

The Nike x Hyperice boot is a high-top shoe equipped with heat and dynamic air compression massage technology. It features dual-air Normatec bladders bonded to warming elements that distribute heat evenly across the foot and ankle. This design aims to drive heat deep into muscles and tissues, promoting faster movement and recovery. Athletes can control the heat and compression levels of each shoe independently or synchronize them, offering customizable comfort and support.

The Nike x Hyperice vest leverages thermoelectric coolers to provide instant heating and cooling without the need for ice or liquid. The vest’s thermal modules, combined with an air bladder and pressure sensor, autonomously adjust to maintain optimal body temperature, enhancing comfort and the effectiveness of the thermal technology during warmups and cooldowns.

“Recovery is an important part of any athlete’s journey, but we’re hearing from athletes that this concept of ‘pre-covery’ is equally as important,” said Tobie Hatfield, Senior Director of Nike Athlete Innovation. “The footwear and vest that we’ve developed with Hyperice help get the body ready for activity, whether you’re playing for a title or you’re on your feet a lot at work.”

Nike and Hyperice are incorporating feedback from athletes as they refine the products. The brands plan to release the Nike x Hyperice innovations at a future date, continuing their commitment to pushing the boundaries of athletic performance and recovery technology.
