Life Time has unveiled an expansion to its complimentary app with 100 new on-demand classes and a suite of meditations designed to promote mindfulness and stress relief. The additions reflect the growing demand for flexible, accessible wellness solutions, catering to people’s increasingly diverse schedules and preferences.

Fifty new classes are already available, with more rolling out weekly. The content spans fitness and wellness categories ranging from strength training and cardio to yoga and meditation. This latest release is part of Life Time’s effort to bring its in-club experience to members wherever they are, offering tools to stay active and mindful at home, on the road, or during busy seasons.

Jayme Zylstra, Executive Producer of Digital Programming at Life Time, explained the timing of the release. “The release of our expanded on-demand library of classes and meditations, along with everything else included in our complimentary app, comes at a perfect time as we enter the holiday season with busy schedules, travel, and maybe a little too much stress,” Zylstra said. “No matter what category or style of class you’re looking for, we’ve got you covered with the great energy and instruction of our performers, great music, and ultimately a great workout that can fit into people’s daily routines.”

The new content is led by a team of Life Time instructors known for their engaging and supportive teaching styles. The offerings also include customizable class lengths, ranging from brief five-minute sessions to more intensive 60-minute workouts, allowing users to tailor their routines.

In addition to physical fitness, Life Time is broadening its focus on mental well-being. The app now includes meditations aimed at fostering calm and clarity. These sessions address stress management, breathing techniques, and mindful movement, providing a holistic approach to wellness.

The expanded content adds to Life Time’s library of 130 existing on-demand videos and 175 weekly livestreamed classes. While the app serves as a bridge for those unable to visit Life Time’s physical clubs, it also complements the in-person experience by offering accessible tools for consistent engagement.

The growth of Life Time’s digital offerings reflects a broader trend in the industry: the integration of physical fitness and mental health. As Zylstra noted, the new classes and meditations aim to make maintaining health and wellness not only achievable but enjoyable, even during the most hectic times of the year.
