GymNation Teases In-Gym Hotel — Can You Actually Sleep Next to the Squat Rack?

GymNation, the Middle East’s fastest-growing fitness brand, has announced what it’s calling the world’s first-ever in-gym hotel.
Marketed as the ultimate solution for gym-goers who hate the post-workout commute, the GymNation Hotel allows members to go from lifting weights to hitting the hay without leaving the facility. The setup includes fitness-themed touches like dumbbell-shaped towels, a "Press for Protein" button to order shakes from bed, and streaming options for stretching or foam rolling sessions via a dedicated "Gymflix" channel.
“Every hotel has a gym, but there aren’t any gyms with hotels… Until now!” said Loren Holland, Founder and CEO of GymNation. “At GymNation, we’ve always been about disrupting the fitness world and making health and wellness accessible to everyone. Our brand new in-gym hotel takes it to the next level, no more cutting workouts short or heading home to recover. Power up, recharge, and hit the next set—all from the comfort of the gym floor.”
The launch comes amid a rise in fitness tourism. A recent study revealed that 76 percent of British travellers stay active on holiday. Of those, 56 percent say maintaining their health while away is important and 37 percent aim to stick to their regular gym routine. In the Middle East, tourism is booming. Dubai welcomed 28.72 million visitors in 2024 and reached a 78 percent hotel occupancy rate. European visits to Saudi Arabia increased 24 percent year on year.
The GymNation Hotel taps into both trends by offering a place to sleep, recover, and train all in one space.
Registration is now open at https://gymnation.com/hotelgymnation/ for those who want to be the first to book a bed next to the bench press.
While bookings are already being teased via GymNation’s official site, some industry insiders have raised an eyebrow or two at the timing of the launch. After all, April is just around the corner.
Whether a bold new fitness concept or something a little more tongue-in-cheek, one thing’s certain: GymNation knows how to keep the industry and the internet on its toes.
