Planet Fitness has announced its latest collaborative venture with Megan Thee Stallion, affectionately known as 'Mother Fitness.' This collaboration, termed 'Thee Hottie Drop,' marks the second limited-edition, co-branded merchandise launch between the fitness giant and the Grammy-winning artist. Available for purchase through March 31—or while supplies last—this initiative not only aims to celebrate women's empowerment but also to provide tangible support towards it.

In a significant move towards supporting women's mental and physical wellness, Planet Fitness has pledged to donate 100% of its profits from the sales to the Pete & Thomas Foundation and the SeekHer Foundation. The Pete & Thomas Foundation, established by Megan Thee Stallion herself, focuses on mobilizing resources to bring positive change to women, children, senior citizens, and underserved communities worldwide. Meanwhile, the SeekHer Foundation is dedicated to closing the gender gap in mental health care and fostering a community care ecosystem for women.

Building on the success of their initial merchandise launch last December—a collection that quickly sold out—'Thee Hottie Drop' introduces new items designed to inspire and empower. Among these are a black crop top and sweatpants featuring the slogan "Bad Bitches Have Bad Days Too," and high-rise socks with "Real Hot Girl Fit" printed on them, all crafted to motivate individuals towards embracing their fitness journeys within Planet Fitness's Judgement Free Zone®.

This initiative arrives amidst revealing statistics on women's health: 62% of women acknowledge movement as a crucial self-care act, yet a similar percentage report seldom making time for it. Additionally, over half of the women surveyed expressed feeling judged in gym environments for not appearing fit enough. In response, Planet Fitness continues to champion inclusive fitness spaces where women can confidently pursue their mental and physical health goals.

Megan Thee Stallion expressed her enthusiasm for the project, emphasizing the importance of leveraging platforms for positive societal impact, particularly in supporting women's health resources. Jamie Medeiros, Chief Brand Officer at Planet Fitness, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the brand's commitment to fostering confidence and comfort for women both within and outside the gym environment.

This collaboration underscores Planet Fitness's dedication to enhancing wellness through inclusive initiatives, building on its partnership with Megan Thee Stallion that began in December 2023. The partnership has featured a comprehensive campaign including advertising, social media content, app-based workouts inspired by Megan, and more, culminating in a performance on "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest."
