Noom has launched Noom Vibe, a new app designed to promote healthy habits through incentives and community support, tailored for the age of GLP-1s. The app awards users "Vibes," a virtual currency earned through healthy behaviors, which can be redeemed for gift cards or donated to various causes.

Dr. Pouran Faghri, UCLA Public Health Professor and Noom advisor, stated, "Combining financial incentives with improved self-efficacy leads to lasting lifestyle changes. Social connection and self-efficacy enhance individuals' willingness to engage in healthy behaviors."

Noom Vibe offers a range of features designed to support holistic wellness. The app includes a step and habit tracker that rewards users for maintaining healthy habits. Users can access over 1,000 personalized workouts, earning Vibes proportional to the time spent exercising. Additionally, Noom Vibe provides daily live talks and coaching sessions with health experts, covering a variety of health topics including GLP-1s. The app also includes voice-based support groups, known as Community Circles, which connect like-minded individuals to support each other on topics such as sleep, fitness, parenting, and mental health.

Noom CEO Geoff Cook emphasized the importance of healthy habits in the current era. "In the age of GLP-1s, healthy habits are crucial. People want to not just live longer, but live better. Noom Vibe empowers users to live better longer by fostering community and rewarding healthy behaviors. With Noom’s flagship app, we have helped millions achieve a healthy weight. Noom Vibe is the next step, appealing to everyone regardless of their current weight, and helping them build healthy habits in an engaging and supportive environment."

The launch of Noom Vibe signifies a significant step in integrating wellness and community support with the use of GLP-1s, aiming to create a comprehensive approach to long-term health and well-being.
