FORM Introduces HeadCoach™: In-Goggle, Real-Time Coaching for Swimmers

FORM, a prominent fitness technology company, has unveiled HeadCoach™, a cutting-edge digital swim coach that promises to redefine the world of swimming with real-time visual coaching. HeadCoach, available immediately, introduces in-goggle coaching, bridging the gap between conventional swimming and a more technologically advanced approach.
Swimming, being a highly technical sport, often poses challenges for swimmers in identifying and addressing technique flaws, particularly without an on-deck coach. HeadCoach addresses this issue by providing swimmers with enhanced access to technique awareness, skill development, and in-app education and analysis.
HeadCoach offers real-time visual coaching through the augmented reality (AR) display of the FORM Smart Swim Goggles, providing feedback based on two primary metrics: the FORM Score and HeadCoach Skills. The FORM Score, ranging from 0 to 100, evaluates overall swim efficiency, incorporating factors such as pace and stroke length. HeadCoach Skills cover five critical areas, including head roll, head pitch, set pacing, interval pacing, and breathing time-to-neutral, assigning ratings from 0 to 100 for each skill.
Swimmers can access tailored educational resources and video content through the FORM Swim App. In the pool, they can use the HeadCoach Skills mode in the goggles to focus on specific areas for improvement, track their FORM Score progress, and engage in gamified exercises to refine their technique. This innovative approach empowers swimmers of all levels to enhance their performance and speed through data-driven guidance.
