Reform RX has raised $5.1 million in funding. The investment round was led by Clarendon Fund Managers, which manages equity investments for the Investment Fund for Northern Ireland. The capital will be used to expand Reform RX’s global presence and enhance its technology, designed to personalize Pilates workouts and strengthen the connection between mind and body.

Founded in 2018 by Pilates expert Yvette McGaffin and Neal McGaffin, Reform RX has experienced significant growth. Within two weeks of its initial launch, the company generated $1 million in revenue, and its product line sold out in the first quarter of 2023.

According to Claudine Owens, Investment Manager at Clarendon Fund Managers, “With Neal and Yvette at the helm, Reform RX is an ambitious company that shares our vision for the future. It will be the must-have piece of equipment for every Reformer Pilates enthusiast and studio. The deal is the largest initial investment we have ever completed in a single NI company here at Clarendon, which is a reflection of the confidence we have in the team at Reform RX.”

The Reform RX’s flagship product combines traditional Pilates principles with advanced technology, the machine tracks user movement with extreme precision, offering real-time biometric feedback for an optimized workout.

“This significant investment will allow us to accelerate our global expansion and continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in Pilates,” said Yvette McGaffin, CEO and co-founder of Reform RX.

The company's connected reformer enables users to participate in on-demand classes, track progress through wearables, and receive detailed workout metrics. The product is aimed at a broad range of users, from boutique fitness studios to individual consumers, with a team of experts including Sam Bowen, formerly of Peloton, and Frank van de Ven, formerly of Life Fitness, helping to guide the company’s direction.
