The Aesthetic Approach to Wellness: Kiara LeBlanc and Lifted Movement

In the world of health and wellness, there are individuals who not only embrace the principles of holistic living but also work tirelessly to make wellness accessible and appealing to everyone. Kiara LeBlanc, co-founder and CEO of Lifted Movement, is one such individual. Her journey from humble beginnings at Saje Natural Wellness to the inception of Lifted Movement is a testament to her passion for health, innovative thinking, and her role in revolutionizing the use of social media platforms for monetization.
Kiara LeBlanc's journey in the wellness industry began at an early age, long before the concept of Lifted Movement took shape. She was practically unofficially working for Saje Natural Wellness from her childhood days when she used to ride her tricycle to her parents' first store in Lonsdale Quay. Initially, her role involved simple tasks like stocking shelves and wrapping holiday gifts at the essential oils and skincare products retailer.
In 2010, she convinced Saje's co-founders, Jean-Pierre and Kate Ross LeBlanc, to let her take charge of the company's social media presence. At that time, the trend of monetizing platforms like Facebook was just beginning to take off.
Under Kiara's leadership, Saje Natural Wellness leveraged social media platforms to enhance its brand presence and profitability. Her innovative strategies not only boosted product sales but also transformed the brand's image. Saje, which had previously been associated with a more "hippy-granola" appearance, evolved into a sophisticated, modern, and wellness-conscious brand.
Kiara's experience at Saje Natural Wellness allowed her to witness firsthand the power of combining wellness with aesthetics and innovation. However, it took a life-altering event—a traumatic ski accident and subsequent knee surgery—to shift her perception of fitness.
This transformation led to the creation of Lifted Movement, a brand co-founded by Kiara and her mother, Kate LeBlanc. Lifted Movement has disrupted the home fitness equipment market by introducing a premium line of fitness equipment designed not just for function but for aesthetics. Their collection includes beautifully handcrafted free weights and kettlebells made from recycled steel and accented with elegant marble ends. Additionally, they offer fabric and rubber resistance bands, hand weights, and fitness mats, all designed to blend seamlessly with your home decor.
The company's unique approach to fitness doesn't stop at equipment. They also plan to provide premium education, guided by industry experts, to help users optimize their health through functional movements. With this holistic approach, Lifted Movement is redefining at-home exercise, making it more appealing and enjoyable.
