Life Time, the nation's premier healthy lifestyle brand, has unveiled the first phase of its 54,000-square-foot athletic club at PENN 1, situated in the vibrant PENN DISTRICT near Madison Square Garden. This upscale fitness destination, designed to cater to office workers, commuters, and local residents, marks a significant expansion for Life Time in the city. The full completion of the club, featuring seven indoor pickleball courts, is anticipated by early 2024.

Life Time at PENN 1 introduces a deluxe fitness experience across two floors of Vornado Realty Trust's revamped tower. The facility boasts boutique studios hosting exclusive group, mind-body, and cycling classes led by top city instructors, along with cutting-edge cardiovascular, functional, and strength training equipment. The club also offers curated recovery spaces, upscale dressing rooms with saunas, and a juice bar stocked with Life Time's proprietary nutritional products.

Parham Javaheri, Life Time Chief Property Development Officer, expressed enthusiasm about the project's initial phase and the forthcoming enhancements, stating, "It's been a thrill to see the continued redevelopment of the PENN DISTRICT with Vornado Realty Trust, and for Life Time to open phase one of our project with newly designed spaces and experiences." The second phase, slated to open in early 2024, will introduce seven ground-level pickleball courts, lounges, bars, and dedicated areas for signature training programs. Positioned conveniently near the transportation hub, Life Time at PENN 1 welcomes both members and day visitors to enjoy its upscale fitness offerings."

As part of its ongoing growth in New York City, Life Time has plans to launch three additional destinations in 2024, including The Brooklyn Tower, Atlantic Avenue at Brooklyn Crossing, and Park Avenue South.
