New Year, New You: How to Set Goals That Actually Work

VANCOUVER, British Columbia- According to a new survey conducted by Time2Play 29% of Canadians said they are setting New Year’s Resolutions around fitness and nutrition. In the same survey 48.1% of respondents said their New Year’s Resolutions fail due to lack of motivation.

All Things Fitness and Wellness has released a new interview with Sports Psychologist Dr. Hayley Perlus. Dr. Perlus has worked with some of the world’s top athletes, brands, and fitness experts.

The podcast interview ‘Why New Year’s Resolutions Fail | Proven Tips to Succeed in 2023’ addresses that fact that as many as 80% of New Year’s resolutions will have been abandoned by February.

In the interview Dr. Perlus outlines the importance of cultivating mental toughness. Mental toughness can be surmised as showing up when you don’t feel like it, enduring discomfort, and understanding that we have to exert all available effort toward our goals each day.

Through the month of January All Things Fitness and Wellness will be featuring fitness and wellness industry leaders on the podcast. Upcoming guests include Registered Dietician Kat Barefield, Fitness Expert and Inventor Pete Holman, and Tik Tok sensations the BB Fit Twins Maya and Maggy.
