If you’ve followed anyone in the fitness community than you most likely have encountered this rhetoric. However, there is a shift happening for those in fitness and for those just looking to get started on a workout journey.
The new attitude that is trending is that less is more. There is a physical activity crisis across the globe and this mentality is extremely beneficial for helping people transition from no fit to low fit.
The concept is LIIT (low intensity interval training) or LISS (low intensity steady state cardio) is to maintain a manageable pace for a longer period of time to yield results.
This involves less hard impact on the body and can be less daunting for people to get their minimum weekly exercise requirements in.
